On the particular Rolex I ordered there’s a laser etched crown on the sapphire crystal that you have to have at least a 10x loupe to see it and also around the dial there’s a frame, I’m not sure what that piece is called but it has engraving that lines up perfectly that’s very hard to duplicate and it’s there perfectly. This is more a personal point of view but at one time I had undying loyalty to the brand. I don’t any more because the same day date Rolex I bought for 20k in 2005 is at least 80 now. I had a salesman tell me once that gold has gone way up in price. Seriously? One or two ounces for 80 thousand? I left thinking the guy was an idiot. There’s no inflation or currency difference that comes close, this is purely price gouging and anyone, no matter how much money they have should bend over for it. That’s my personal opinion. When I can buy virtually the same thing for a fraction. Why would anyone consider anything different. I’m in the manufacturing business, I know what it takes to make things. I’m an industrial engineer and I’ve been a machinist my entire life. Richard Mille. Wow, don’t get me started. A plastic watch for 500k… what else has to be said about that.
