Warranty & After-Sales Service

If Something Goes Wrong, Here’s How We Handle It

A mechanical watch may eventually need adjustment, repair, or service. Our warranty is designed to cover eligible functional problems during the applicable warranty period—not normal wear, accidental damage, or misuse.

This page explains how long each quality tier is covered, which problems may qualify for warranty service, what is excluded, and what happens after you report an issue.

Coverage Period

Warranty Length Depends on the Quality Tier

The warranty period begins with the watch you purchased and varies according to its ReplicaFactory quality level.

Asian 1 Year
Swiss 2 Years
1:1 Clone 5 Years

Warranty length is only one difference between the three product levels. Materials, movements, construction, QC targets, and factory sourcing also vary. See our Quality Tiers guide for the full comparison.

What Warranty Means

Warranty Coverage Is for Eligible Functional Problems

The purpose of the warranty is to provide after-sales support when an eligible problem affects the normal mechanical operation or applicable functions of the watch during the warranty period.

MOVEMENT

Mechanical Operation

Eligible movement problems may include a watch that stops running normally or develops a functional movement issue that requires diagnosis.

TIMEKEEPING

Abnormal Performance

Timekeeping that appears materially abnormal for the movement and watch may be reviewed to determine whether regulation, repair, or other service is appropriate.

FUNCTIONS

Functional Issues

Eligible problems involving the crown, calendar, GMT, chronograph, or other applicable watch functions may be reviewed under warranty.

Coverage is based on the cause of the problem, not just the symptom. A watch that stops after an impact, for example, is different from a watch that develops an internal functional fault during normal use. Diagnosis may therefore be required before warranty coverage can be confirmed.

Eligible Issues

Problems We Can Review for Warranty Service

The exact diagnosis depends on the watch and the cause of the problem, but the following are examples of issues that may qualify for warranty service when they occur under normal use.

Movement Stops

The movement no longer runs normally despite appropriate winding and normal use.

Abnormal Timekeeping

The watch develops unusually poor mechanical performance that may require diagnosis, regulation, or repair.

Crown Function

An eligible internal problem affects normal winding, setting, or applicable crown operation.

Calendar Function

An eligible mechanical issue affects normal date, day, or other applicable calendar operation.

GMT Function

A mechanical fault affects normal operation of the applicable GMT or additional-hour-hand mechanism.

Chronograph Function

An eligible internal issue affects normal start, stop, reset, or other applicable chronograph operation.

These examples describe issues that can be reviewed for warranty coverage. They should not be interpreted as automatic approval without diagnosis of the cause.

Exclusions

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

A movement warranty is not accidental-damage insurance and does not cover every change that occurs through ownership and use.

Impact Damage

Damage caused by dropping, striking, crushing, or otherwise subjecting the watch to external impact is not covered.

Water Damage

Water or moisture damage is not covered by the movement warranty. Water resistance is model-dependent and should not be assumed from the genuine reference.

Misuse

Damage caused by improper operation, misuse, or use outside the intended function of the watch is not covered.

Scratches & Cosmetic Damage

Scratches, dents, marks, and other cosmetic changes caused during ownership are not movement warranty issues.

Normal Wear

Normal wear and tear that develops through regular use is not considered a manufacturing or functional warranty issue.

External Damage

Problems caused by external damage rather than an eligible internal functional fault are outside movement warranty coverage.

Water & Moisture

Why Water Damage Is Treated Separately

Water resistance depends on more than the movement. Seals, crown position, case construction, crystal installation, assembly, wear, and the condition of the individual watch can all affect resistance to moisture.

The water-resistance rating of a genuine reference should not automatically be assumed to apply to another watch based on the same design.

Likewise, a factory-stated water-resistance figure is not the same as an independent pressure-test result for the individual watch.

Because water damage can result from external exposure, seal condition, crown position, use, or other factors that cannot be treated as a movement defect, it is excluded from the movement warranty.

If you intend to use a watch in water, do not rely only on the rating of the genuine reference or a general product description. Water resistance should be treated as model-dependent.

Requesting Service

Start With the Problem—Not the Return Shipment

If your watch develops a problem, do not immediately ship it back. Start by sending us enough information to identify the order and understand what the watch is doing.

01

Send Your Order Number

Provide the order number so we can identify the watch, quality tier, and relevant purchase information.

02

Describe the Problem

Tell us what is happening, when it started, and whether the problem is constant or intermittent.

03

Show Us the Issue

Photos or a short video can help us understand visible or functional problems before deciding the next step.

Please wait for service instructions before sending the watch. A return shipment should only be arranged after the issue has been reviewed and return or service instructions have been provided.

Diagnosis

We First Determine What Kind of Problem You Have

Not every symptom requires the same solution. The first step is to understand whether the issue can be resolved through operation, adjustment, regulation, repair, or replacement.

Operating Issue

Some problems may be related to winding, setting, crown position, function sequence, or normal mechanical-watch operation.

Regulation Issue

Some abnormal timekeeping problems may require movement regulation rather than component replacement.

Repairable Fault

An eligible internal problem may require repair or replacement of the affected component.

Replacement-Level Issue

If repair is not the appropriate solution, movement or watch replacement may be considered depending on the circumstances.

Service Resolution

We Use the Appropriate Solution for the Problem

Warranty service does not automatically mean replacing the entire watch. The appropriate resolution depends on the fault, movement, available parts, and service requirements.

01 / FIRST

Repair

When an eligible problem can be properly corrected through repair, that is generally the first service option.

02 / IF NEEDED

Replacement Movement

If movement repair is not practical or appropriate, replacement of the movement may be considered where applicable.

03 / IF REQUIRED

Replacement Watch

If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved through repair or movement replacement, watch replacement may be considered.

Typical resolution order: Repair → Replacement Movement → Replacement Watch → Alternative Resolution where necessary.

The appropriate outcome depends on the individual case. This sequence describes the general service approach rather than guaranteeing that every claim will require or qualify for every stage.

Approved Service

If the Watch Needs to Come Back

Some problems cannot be properly diagnosed or repaired remotely. If physical service is required and the warranty case is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the watch.

STEP 01

Service Approval

The issue is reviewed first so we can determine whether a physical return is required.

STEP 02

Return Instructions

If the watch needs to be returned, follow the shipping instructions provided for the approved service case.

STEP 03

Inspection & Service

After receipt, the watch can be inspected and the approved repair, movement replacement, or other resolution carried out.

Before It Comes Back

Serviced Watches Are Checked Again Before Shipment

Completing a repair is not the final step. Applicable operation should be checked again before the watch is prepared for return shipment.

Function Check

The repaired or replaced function is checked for normal operation where applicable.

Movement Check

Applicable mechanical performance can be reviewed again after movement-related service.

Final Condition

The watch is reviewed in its final serviced state before packing.

Return Shipment

The watch is prepared for shipment after the applicable service and final checks are completed.

Warranty vs. Returns

Warranty Service and a 30-Day Return Are Not the Same Process

These policies deal with different situations and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Warranty Service

Warranty service deals with eligible functional problems during the applicable 1-year, 2-year, or 5-year warranty period.

30-Day Returns

The return process has its own eligibility, timing, authorization, condition, and refund requirements.

For return or exchange conditions, authorization requirements, and refund terms, please review the Return & Refund Policy .

Questions & Answers

Warranty & Service FAQ

How long is my watch covered?

Asian watches include a 1-year warranty, Swiss watches include a 2-year warranty, and 1:1 Clone watches include a 5-year warranty, subject to the applicable coverage and exclusions.

My watch stopped running. Is that covered?

A watch that stops because of an eligible internal functional problem may qualify for warranty service. The cause first needs to be reviewed, since insufficient winding, impact, water damage, misuse, or other external causes are different situations.

My watch is gaining or losing time. Does it need repair?

Not necessarily. Mechanical watches naturally have a rate tolerance, and performance can change with position, state of wind, temperature, magnetism, use, and service condition. If the performance appears materially abnormal, send us the details so the issue can be reviewed.

Is water damage covered by the warranty?

No. Water and moisture damage are excluded from the movement warranty. Water resistance is model-dependent and should not be assumed from the rating of the genuine reference.

Are scratches or cosmetic wear covered?

No. Scratches, marks, dents, cosmetic wear, and normal wear and tear from ownership are not movement warranty issues.

What happens if the movement cannot be repaired?

Depending on the issue and the watch, the next appropriate resolution may include a replacement movement, replacement watch, or another suitable resolution.

Should I ship the watch back as soon as I notice a problem?

No. Send your order number, a description of the problem, and useful photos or video first. Wait for service instructions before arranging a return shipment.

Do I need to send photos or video?

They can be very helpful. A short video showing the problem may make it easier to understand a functional issue before deciding whether the watch needs to be returned for physical inspection.

Is warranty service the same as a return or refund?

No. Warranty service addresses eligible functional problems during the warranty period. Returns and refunds are handled under the separate 30-day Return & Refund Policy.
