Step-by-Step

How to Adjust the Watch Bracelet Clasp

Follow these six steps to make a small adjustment to the bracelet fit.

STEP 01

Open the Clasp

Fully open the watch clasp so you can access the bracelet adjustment mechanism inside.

STEP 02

Locate the Adjustment

Find the adjustable section where the bracelet connects to the inside of the clasp.

STEP 03

Release the Bracelet

Hold the bracelet securely and gently release the adjustable section from its current position. Do not force the mechanism.

STEP 04

Adjust the Length

Move the adjustable section outward for a slightly looser fit, or inward for a slightly tighter fit.

STEP 05

Lock It in Place

Press the adjustable section securely back into position. Make sure it is fully seated before closing the clasp.

STEP 06

Check the Fit

Close the clasp and try the watch on. If necessary, reopen the clasp and make another small adjustment.

Quick Reference

Tighter or Looser?

For a Looser Fit

Move the adjustable section outward to increase the effective bracelet length.

For a Tighter Fit

Move the adjustable section inward to reduce the effective bracelet length.

Important: This method is for small fit adjustments at the clasp. If the bracelet is still significantly too large, one or more bracelet links may need to be removed.
